Edward Lee Carper, 56, of Topeka, died on January 16, 2014 at his residence.
Edward was born on May 10, 1957 in Iowa to Clyde and Elizabeth (Hill) Carper. He later moved to Topeka and graduated from Topeka High School.
Edward is survived by his wife, Inerenda Carper, by one son, Vincent Carper, by two daughters, Jessie Jordan and Katie , one grandson, Micah Durant, by his father, Clyde Carper, and two sisters, Clydeane and Clydette Carper.
He was preceded in death by his mother and by one brother.
Cremation has taken place and the family will greet friends at a celebration of life gathering from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka.
