Edra B. Thompson

Edra B. Thompson, age 93, of Topeka, Kansas, died Tuesday, September 3, 2002 at a Topeka area care center. She was born February 1, 1909 at Luray, Kansas to Loy and Louann Cochran Barry. She moved with her family at an early age to Topeka, Kansas and graduated from Topeka High School. She attended and graduated from Strickler's Business College.

She married Hall T. Thompson on August 21, 1984. He preceded her in death on August 23, 1985. She was also preceded by two sisters, Lora B. Barry and Ruth B. Thompson. She is survived by several cousins.

She was associated with Aetna Life Insurance Company in Topeka and Wichita for 42 years.

Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at the Mt. Hope Mausoleum Chapel on Monday, September 9, 2002 at 10:00 a.m.
