Edonis Moore

Edonis "Donnie" L. Moore, aged 96, passed away on January 9, 2025 at her home in Topeka, Kansas. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Donnie was born on March 2, 1928 in Hastings, Nebraska to Myron and Dorothy (Turner) Kent. She grew up in Hastings where she met the love of her life, Harold "Harry" T. Moore. Harry and Donnie were married on December 21, 1953 and lived in several towns across Nebraska and Kansas before settling down in Topeka to raise their family. Donnie was a loving wife, mother and homemaker to her family. 

Donnie is survived by her sons Thomas (Eleanore) M. Moore, William (Debra) C. Moore and Patrick C. Moore; grandchildren Eli and Grace; step grandchildren Delana, Stephanie and Kelsey.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her sister Joyce Brandenhorst.

 A celebration of Donnie's life will be held from 5 PM to 9 PM, Saturday February 1st, at Rogue Event Studio, 917 N. Kansas Ave in Topeka.

 A private family inurnment has already taken place at Mount Hope Cemetery.
