Edna Ann (Hill) Malloy, 86, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020.
She was born March 11, 1934, in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Thomas and Felcie (Moody) Hill.
Edna graduated from Wichita East High School in 1952. She worked for the Shawnee County District Courts and later was employed by Capital City Radiator for 20 years prior to retirement.
Edna was a member of the Pilot Club and the Red Hat Society of Topeka.
Edna married Richard L. Malloy on January 26, 1957 in Wichita, KS. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Pamela Sue (Bill) Harris of Shell Knob, MO, Roy Lee (Rita) Malloy of Topeka, Michele Dawn Malloy of Goff, KS and Richard Lee (Ruth) Malloy, Jr. of Silver Lake, KS; her grandchildren, Milissa Neff, Kelly Geller, Blake Malloy, Mike Malloy, Jaidlynne Malloy, Dylan Fund, Justin Malloy and Evan Malloy ; her great grandchildren, Brooke Neff, Austin Neff, Braiden Godfredson, Klayson Geller, Braxton Malloy, Weston Malloy, Hap Malloy and Grayson Malloy; her siblings, Mylene (Jim) Watson, Jimmy (Nikki) Defenpaugh, Carol Trento all of Oregon and Earl Salisbury of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and a grandson, Lance A. Jenkins.
Edna enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren; she also enjoyed playing cards, sewing, quilting and playing bingo.
Honoring Edna's request, cremation is planned. A private family service will take place at a later date. Interment of the cremated remains will be at Zion Cemetery in Tecumseh, KS. Penwell-Gabel Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka is assisting the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 4400 Clayton Ave St. Louis, MO 63110.
