Edna Mae Taylor
Edna Mae Taylor, 78, of Topeka, passed away, Thursday, August 24, 2006. She was born in Topeka, Kansas on August 6, 1928 the daughter of Edward E. Large and Helen M. Scully.
She was married to Leo Wunder. He preceded her in death in November, 1954. She married Kenneth R. Taylor October 26, 1957. He preceded her in death May 17, 1999.
She was employed many years by Capitol City Pawn Shop.
Survivors include two sons and three daughters; Tom Wunder and wife JoAnn, Topeka; Judy Neff, Lawrence; Deb Newlee and husband Jack, Topeka; Laurie Reed and husband Mike, Olathe; Mike Taylor, Topeka. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Edna will lie in state after 12:00 noon Sunday and visitation will be held from 6:30pm until 8:00 p.m. that evening at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Graveside services will be held at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery Monday, August 28, at 9:00am.
