Edna M. Wehrle, 90, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Stormont Vail Hospital.
Edna was born on October 6, 1922 to John and Martha Goldfuss in Buffalo, New York. She was a member of the German American Club and the Daytrippers Club, both of Topeka.
She was married to Joseph Wehrle in 1945 in Buffalo, NY; he preceded her in death in 1978.
Edna is survived by two daughters, Theresa (Larry) Boltz of Buffalo, NY and Ruth (John) Staudacher of Pittsburgh, PA; one son, Ronald Wehrle of Worcester, MA; one sister, Martha (Robert) Lind of San Diego, CA; one brother, Frank (Lois) Goldfuss of Topeka; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Martha Goldfuss; two sons, Carl and John and four brothers, Harold, Ralph, Paul, and John.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to the organization of the donor's choice.
