Earl D. Hall, 89, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017 with his wife Nellie by his side.
He was born January 8, 1928 in Marquette, KS, the son of Amos and Julia Hall.
Earl graduated from Osage City High School and went to work for Martin Marietta as a supervisor for many years, retiring in 1995.
He was an avid fisherman and loved to travel with his wife. He was also a fan of KU basketball.
He married Nellie Riggin on July 5, 1998 at Westminster Presbyterian Church. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Rodney and Terry Hall; three step-sons, Paul, Philip and Page Etzel; a step-daughter, Anita Riggin and a step-son, Steven Riggin; one sister, Marcella Brewer and numerous grand, great grand and step-grandchildren.
Earl will lie in state after 8:00 a.m., Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel,1321 S.W. 10th Ave., Topeka, KS 66604, where the family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow at West Lawn Memorial Gardens, 820 SW. Auburn Rd., Topeka, KS 66605.
