OBITUARY
E. Gertrude (Trudy) Moore, Age 103, passed away March 25, 2003 at her home. She was born August 20, 1899 in Palmyra, Ontario, Canada to William T. Street and Margaret Stinson Street.
Trudy married O.H. Moore September 8, 1925. Divorced 1940.
Trudy moved to Topeka, Kansas in 1938. She is a member of Lowman United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and the Fellowship Sunday School class. She was employed at Pelletier's, Crosby's, and the State Board of Cosmetology prior to 13 years at Blue Cross Blue Shield. She retired in 1964. Trudy volunteered many hours at the Topeka State Hospital in the late 50's & early 60's.
Survivors include 3 children: Edwin Moore, Fort Collins, CO; Donald Moore,Bowie, MD; Margaret Cabbage, Hutchinson, KS. Other survivors include 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Friday March 28, 2003 at Mount Hope Chapel, Topeka, KS. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.Ms Moore will lie in state from 1:00PM to 9:00PM Thrusday March 27, 2003 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, a family visititation will be held from 7:00PM-8:00Pm that evening
