E. Gene Dixon

E. Gene Dixon, 76, Topeka, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016.
He was born May 22, 1940, in El Dorado, Kansas, the son of C. Willard and Nina B. (Hopper) Dixon. Gene graduated from Lawrence High School in 1958 and served in the United States Air Force.
Gene was a Console Operator at ATSF Railway. He was a member of First Church of Christ Scientist, Boston, MA and was very active in the Topeka Genealogical Society.
Survivors include sisters: Kaye Patterson, Lawrence, KS and Linda Lehman, Fayetteville, AR; brother: Hollis Dixon, Topeka and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, C. Wayne Dixon.
Gene was cremated. Private interment will be at Rochester Cemetery.
