Duff D. Wagoner III, 63, Topeka, died Monday, May 31, 2004, at a Topeka Hospital.
He was born May 14, 1941, in Denver, the son of the Reverend Dr. Duff D. Wagoner Jr. and Mattie Esther Tally-Wagoner.
He was a graduate of Parsons High School and Emporia State University.
Mr. Wagoner was a beloved teacher and counselor in the Topeka area for 41 years, currently at Eisenhower Middle School.
He married Sharon A. Russell on August 9, 1964, in Emporia, KS. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Duff D. Wagoner IV and Seth Wagoner, both of Topeka; and a sister, Nada Dobson, Oklahoma City.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 4th, 2004,at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Inurnment will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to the Duff D. Wagoner Memorial Fund, c/o Eisenhower Middle School, 3305 SE Minnesota Avenue, Topeka, KS 66605. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.penwellgabel.com.
