Dr. Lane A. Miller, 84, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Manor Care Health Services. He was born on April 17, 1927 in DeKalb, Illinois to John and Margaret Miller.
Dr. Miller was a dentist and a life long member of the Arkansas Dental Association. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during WWII. Dr. Miller is survived by a stepdaughter, Susan Sherman of Shreveport, LA.
A graveside ceremony with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the Leavenworth National Cemetery. Dr. Miller will lie in state on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.
