Douglas Reiman

Douglas Neil "Doug" Reiman, 51, of Topeka, passed away peacefully at his home, Friday June 18, 2010.
He was born November 23, 1958 in Lincoln, Nebraska the son of Norman and Elva Reiman. Doug was a 1977 graduate of Shawnee Heights High School and later received his Bachelor's Degree from Washburn University.
He was employed by Core First Bank and Trust for over 26 years. He was very active in youth baseball.
Doug married Pamela Barngrover May 28, 1983. She survives. Other survivors include his sons, Bryan and Chris Reiman, of the home; his mother, Elva Scheiding, Beatrice, NE; his siblings, Wynn Reiman, Denise Bowser and Danny Reiman, five nieces, seven nephews, two great nieces, two great nephews and Bosco his chocolate lab.
Doug will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel where the family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. that evening. A funeral ceremony will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday June 21, 2010 at the funeral home followed by interment at the Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
