Douglas Dean Wilson, 47, passed away Jan. 13, 2011, at Stormont-Vail Health Center.
Douglas was born Sept. 12th, 1963 in Norfolk, Nebraska, to Mary and Myrlin Wilson. Douglas was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Kathy Wilson and Uncle Kenneth and Aunt Ernestine Wilson who raised him from an early age after his parents' death.
He was a graduate of Professional Modeling from Plaza Three Academy.
Douglas is survived by his friend Phillip Kochert, brother, Jim Wilson and sisters, Nancy Schott, Marilyn Doughty, Sandra Norman, Linda Bolek, Helen Kraemer, Sharon Stewart and numerous nieces and nephews.
Douglas was a sweet, kind, gentle and compassionate person and will be missed deeply.
Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 pm, January 22nd at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home-Midtown Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604. Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society or to United Way of Topeka.
