Douglas M. Barnett, 49, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 28, 2016, at his home in Topeka, KS.
Doug was born on June 25, 1967, in Garnett, KS, to Donna and Marvin Barnett. He graduated from Osawatomie High School. Doug worked as a manager at his brother, Vince's Sonic Restaurant in Lawrence, KS. He had a love for animals, being out in the country, and hunting. Above all, he loved his family and friends, and he loved to laugh.
Douglas is survived by his mother.
He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Vince Millard.
A funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2016, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka. Burial will take place at a later date at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Topeka.
