Dorothylee A. French

The Celebration of life for Dorothylee A. French will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 25th at First United Methodist Klasse Chapel. Entombment will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum. She will lie in state after 11 a.m., Sunday and the family will welcome friends from 4 to 5 p.m.

Dorothylee was born July 17, 1926 in Ottawa, KS. She was the daughter of A. Glenn and Thelma Price. She attended school and graduated from Ottawa High School.

She married Raymond K. French on November 21, 1948 at First United Methodist Church in Topeka, KS.

Dorothylee retired from Colmery-O'Neil VA Hospital as a Ward Secretary.

Dorothylee passed away on Thursday, September 21st, 2006; leaving behind many loved ones including her mother, Thelma, brothers, C.J. and Dale Price, a sister, Sara Owen, all of Springfield, MO, sister, Susie Burmont of St. Joseph, MO, son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Tara French, granddaughters, Jennifer Burdick and Jolene French, and great grandchildren, Devin, Dakota, and Reaghan.
