Dorothy May Sleezer entered the spirit world on March 25, 2006 in
Topeka. She will be remembered for the many hugs she had to give, for
her beautiful crochet creations and for her menagerie of stuffed
animals. Dorothy was happiest when camping at the lake with her
brothers Ernest Howard and Earl Howard and friends Mary and Steve
McDonald, who survive and will cherish memories of their good times.
She was born Dec. 6, 1929 in Little Falls, N.Y., the
daughter of Celar and Leona Klinegardner Howard. In 1973 she married
Donald E. Sleezer, who died in 1979 in Gloversville, N.Y. In 1995, she
came to Topeka to live with brothers Ernest and Earl. Dorothy is also
survived by brothers Harry Howard, Oxford, N.Y; Floyd Howard,
Binghampton, N.Y.; and William Howard, Hancock, N.Y. She was preceeded
in death by a brother, Celar Jr., and a sister, Marion.
She will also be missed by a sister-in-law, Roberta Howard,
Windsor, N.Y.; a cousin, George Howard, Dundee, Fla.; and in Topeka by
Steve and Dena Anson; Joy, Earl, Miah , Earl Jr, and Maliah Watson;
Zachary Linquist; Seth Cooksey and Stephanie Joy.
