Dorothy M. Bartlett

Dorothy M. Bartlett, 85, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Midland Hospice House. She was born on November 27, 1921 in San Antonio, TX, the daughter of Samuel Earl and Ethel Marie Ezelle Butler. Following WWII, Dorothy moved to Topeka where she met and married Roy R. Bartlett on October 16, 1953. He preceded her in death on January 4, 1995. Survivors include two sons, Thomas S. Bartlett, Psy.D., and wife, Alice Brand Bartlett, M.A., of Topeka and LTC David L. Bartlett and wife, Virginia Jaschke, M.D. currently stationed in Ankara, Turkey and one granddaughter, Molly Bartlett. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Mount Hope Cemetery. Burial will follow. Mrs. Bartlett will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. today at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to Midland Hospice Care, 200 S.W.
