Dorothy J. Dick, 84, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016.
She was born November 1, 1931 to Willis H. and Bessie Viles.
Dorothy was a homemaker who deeply loved her family. She also enjoyed bowling and entertaining friends but was especially fond of helping under privileged children.
She married James A. Dick on May 29, 1947. She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter Patty Warner.
Survivors include her son, Jimmy Dick (Velda) of Lawrence, daughter Darla Rankin of Topeka and sister Wilma Segura (Henry); 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 2 great great grandchildren.
Cremation is planned and services will be private.
