Dorothy Craig Frager, 76, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
She was born February 16, 1947, in Fort Worth, Texas, the daughter of Scott and Craig (Reavis) Daly. She attended Gulf Park College for Women. After graduation, Dorothy continued her education at Trinity College and Kansas University. She earned her Master's in Social Work.
Dorothy married Stuart M. Frager on July 31st, 1975. They had two children, William and James.
She was employed by the Menninger's Foundation many years and was a psychology researcher. After leaving Menninger's, she was the Director of the Women's Health Education through Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
Dorothy enjoyed spending her spare time gardening was voted to have the best yard in the 2009 Greater Topeka Landscape Contest. She was also an artist and enjoyed painting, especially water color painting. She would win several ribbons for her art work through the Topeka Art Guild. She also participated in the ERC Designer House Showcase.
She leaves behind her two sons, William Scott Frager and James Craig Frager. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stuart M. Frager and her parents.
A Funeral Ceremony will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Dorothy will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, P.O.
