Dorothy Fay Schultz, 87, Topeka, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2011 at a local care center.
Dorothy was born August 18, 1924 in Topeka, the daughter of Karl and Dorothy (Post) Bergman. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1942.
She was employed as a Secretary with Santa Fe, the City of Topeka, and USD-501, retiring in 1967.
Dorothy married Fred Schultz on February 20, 1947 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include son, Mike (Dorothy) Schultz, Wake Forrest, NC; daughter, Martha Schultz, Topeka; granddaughters, Adrienne DiMenna, Patti Tintle, Amy Schultz, Jennifer Faulhaber; grandson, Tim Faulhaber; and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother.
Graveside inurnment services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is assisting with arrangements.
