Dorothy C. Pock, 95, of Topeka passed away Thursday, March 23 2006 in Topeka.
She was born February 3, 1911, the daughter of William B. and Bella A. Williams.
She completed her primary and secondary education in Lebo, Kansas. Dorothy had worked in Topeka at the Kansas Department of Transportation and Capper's Weekly.
She married Earl L. (Whistle) Pock on November 27, 1932. He was killed in a work related accident in June, 1963. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kristy Kaul, and a great grandson, Tanner Hausthor.
She is survived by her daughter and husband, Nancy and Gus Bogina; a granddaughter and her husband, Kathy and Brian Hausthor, a grandson and his wife, Korey and Lisa Kaul; two great grandsons, Evan and Tyler Hausthor; a sister and her husband, Marjorie and Evie Williams, Falls Church, Virginia.
Mrs. Pock will lie in state after 2:00 pm, Sunday March 26, 2006 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 pm that evening. A funeral service will be held at 9:00 am Monday, March 27 at the funeral home with burial to follow in Alpine Cemetery in Olivet, Kansas.
