Dorothea Geraldine Anderson, 84, of Topeka, died on Friday, July 20, 2007 at a Topeka hospital. She was born on December 1, 1922 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Thomas Roscoe and Olive Edgar Neely. She moved to Topeka in 1995. She was employed by the Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Company and the HD Lee Company. Mrs. Anderson volunteered for the American Red Cross, the Kansas State Historical Society and St. Francis Hospital. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was an accomplished needlewoman. Dorothea married Ralph David Anderson in 1945. He preceded her in death. Survivors include three daughters, Susan Anderson of Key Largo, FL, Carrie Jane Anderson of Bondurant, IA, Janet Chubb of Topeka, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Private family memorial services are pending. Private inurnment will take place in Grace Episcopal Cathedral.
