DORIS E. HALLAUER
Doris Elizabeth Hallauer died Tuesday, September 3, 2002 at a Topeka hospital.
Mrs. Hallauer was born October 9, 1915 at Topeka, the daughter of Roger and Mabel (Guard) Coulson. She lived most of her life in Topeka except for three years at Netawaka, Kansas. She graduated from Netawaka Rural High School in 1934.
She was married to Weldon S. Hallauer on October 22, 1938 in Topeka. He died March 31, 1995.
Mrs. Hallauer was a member of the Crestview United Methodist Church and was a life member of Helena Chapter No. 210 Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include four sister-in-laws: Aileen Oxandale, Holton; Vivian Mapes, Hays; Faye Minton, Sabetha; Lila Myers, Topeka and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hallauer will lie in state after 12:00 noon Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Mid TownChapel where visitation for family and friends will be 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 6, 2002 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Crestview United Methodist Church 2245 SW Eveningside, Topeka, Kansas 66614.
