Doris Nadine Doyle, 75, Topeka, passed away on March 24, 2007 at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Doris was born May 15, 1931 in Lyndon, the daughter of Donald A. and Abby B. (Jensen) Lindsay.
She graduated from Topeka High School in 1949. She worked at the University of Kansas as a key punch operator, as a real estate agent for Town & Country real estate and as a pharmacy assistant for Jayhawk Pharmacy.
She married Jerry L. Doyle on December 24, 1950 in Topeka. He died February 11, 2007. Survivors include a daughter, Deborah O'Connor and husband, Nelson, Henderson, NV; granddaughter, Erin Lindsay O'Connor, Dallas, TX; grandson, Andrew Doyle O'Connor, Henderson, NV, and a brother, Bill Lindsay, Topeka, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2007 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Doris will lie in state at the funeral home after 2:00 p.m. on Thursday and visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
