Doreen Stanley
Doreen Stanley, 64, Topeka, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at Midland Hospice House. She was born September 19, 1940 in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Clair Erpenbach.
After moving from California to Kansas, Doreen was office manager at InterHab and human resource manager at Maximus before her early retirement. She was actively involved with Phi Tau Omega sorority and many other volunteer activities – Doreen loved helping people.
She married Bill Stanley, November 20, 1959 in Los Angeles, California. He survives his loving wife and partner of 45 years. Doreen was a devoted and caring mother and grandmother.
Other survivors include: son Dale Stanley and daughter in-law Pam Stanley, Parker, CO; son Michael Stanley, Topeka; daughter Tammie Majors and son-in-law Mark Majors, Meriden; and three grandchildren, Taylor Stanley, Morgan Stanley and Lara Majors.
Memorial services will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 10, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.
