Donna Roeser, 78, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020.
She was born November 30, 1941, in Rock Creek, Kansas, the daughter of Thelda Way and Millard and Rose Kabriel.
She worked at the corporate office for Volume Shoes for 11 years before working in Human Resources at BNSF for 14 years, retiring in 2006.
She loved all animals, cats especially (Dudley). She enjoyed playing BINGO, watching NASCAR and spending time with friends at Victoria's.
Donna married James Simpson in 1959 and they later divorced. To this union they had two sons and one daughter; Ray Simpson, Daniel Simpson and Cara (Edward) Sargent. She later married Bob Roeser on July 31, 1999 in Topeka, he survives. Other survivors include three step-children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Susie Kirkwood and brother, Michael (Kelli) Janelle and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Daniel and siblings, Dennis Kabriel, Kenneth Janelle, Barbara Michaels and infant sister.
The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Penwell-Gabel Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604. A Celebration of Her Life will be from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Victoria's, 5011 SW Topeka Blvd, Topeka, KS 66609.
