Donavan Eugene Derr, 40, Topeka, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014.
He was born September 8, 1974, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Robert and Patti (Derr) Keithley. He graduated from Highland Park High in 1992.
Donavan was an operations manager for Sheltered Living, Inc.
On October 15, 1999, he married Nadine Auten in Topeka, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Annastashia Auten, Briellen Derr and Cloee Derr; his mother; brother, Ben Keithley; mother-in-law, Ellen "Weggie" Auten; his best friend, Steve Picotte; one step-sister and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents and one step-sister.
Donavan was a gun enthusiast and loved computer gaming.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. The family asks that you wear blue to the services to honor Donavan, as it was his favorite color. Visitation will be on Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family for their daughters' education funds.
