Donald Roland, Jr., 51, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011.
Donald Lee Roland, Jr. was born December 8, 1959, son of Donald Lee and Patricia (Jobe) Roland. Donald came to Topeka at the age of five to live at Kansas Neurological Institute.
He is survived by his parents, Donald and Pat Roland, Edwardsville, KS, five siblings, Leah (Randy) Hamilton, Kansas City, KS, Priscilla Kelly, Gladstone, MO, Dawn Roland, Kansas City, KS, Michael Roland, Kansas City, KS, and Jennifer (Jason) Radcliff, Belen, NM, 17 nieces and nephews, 11 great nieces and nephews, loving care givers, Shelley Perkins and Amanda Moisen, and many other of his care giving friends from Kansas Neurological Institute.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at Kansas Neurological Institute, Wheatland Building, Topeka. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be directed to Kansas Neurological Institute-Resident Benefit Fund, 3107 SW 21st Street, Topeka, KS 66604. Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, Topeka, is assisting with arrangements.
