Donald Fluke, 90, of Topeka, passed away on April 4, 2019.
He was born August 9, 1928, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Paul and Melvina (Robbins) Fluke. He served in the Navy during World War II from 1945-1949.
He worked as a machinist with Brackett, Inc. in Topeka. He was a registered Hamm Radio Operator and enjoyed fellowship with other local operators.
Donald married Olga Zink in 1972, she survives. Other survivors include siblings; Sydney C. Fluke and Phyllis Monteleone; children, Debra Kaad, Jan Goforth, and Beth Beaumont. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Winona Sheldon and Doris Nelson Blakeley; and children, Tara French and David Fluke.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2019 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka. The family will host a reception immediately following the service. Light refreshments will be served.
Private interment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery.
