Donald Aylesworth

Donald "Donnie" Aylesworth, 43, Topeka, passed away Nov. 3, 2008 at home. He was born Jan. 14, 1965 in Denver, CO the son of June Alice Michels Aylesworth. Donnie graduated from Hiawatha High School in 1983. He moved to Topeka in 1989 and began working for the City of Topeka as a mechanic.

Donnie was united in marriage to Teresa Combs-Kidwell Oct. 7, 2006 she survives. Other survivors include: His son, Braden Aylesworth, Topeka; Three step-daughters, Mendy Baggett, Temple, TX; Jennifer Chaney, Seneca, MO; and Elizabeth Hopkins, Pampa, TX; Mother, June Aylesworth, Whiting; Sister, Nadine Mantz, Lawrence; and Grandmother, Geri Michels, Whiting. Donnie will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, Nov. 7, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Braden Aylesworth Memorial Fund c/o Capitol Federal 1201 Topeka Blvd. Topeka, KS 66603.
