Dolores June Krieger
Dolores "June" Krieger, 79, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Midland Hospice House. She was born on June 18, 1931 in Topeka to Orth and Geneva (Cantrell) Darling.
June graduated from Topeka High School in 1949. In April of 1980, she married Jay Krieger, he preceded her in death February 13, 2011. She was a realtor with her husband Jay. She was past president of Home Builders Women's Auxiliary, past president of the Art Guild and a member of First Congregational Church.
June is survived by children, Jill Ramirez; Jon Rager and his wife Pat; June Appelhanz and Jeff Rager all of Topeka; three siblings LeRoy Darling and his wife Bobbie of Georgia; Carolyn Johnson and her husband Gary of Topeka and Linda Reed and her husband Floyd of Burlingame; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A memorial ceremony will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 19 at First Congregational Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Care Hospice Services, 200 SW Frazier Cir, Topeka, KS 66606. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is assisting with arrangements.
