Dolores M. Jenkins, 85, of Topeka, passed away, Wednesday, October 4, 2006.
She was born January 24, 1921, in Boone, IA,the daughter of Ralph and Esther Bell Koppenhaver.
She had worked for the State of Kansas from which she retired in 1985.
Survivors include her son, Albert Lester "Butch" Lewis, Storm Lake, IA; her daughter, Judy Brewer, Topeka; her brother, Bill Koppenhaver, Burlington, KS, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Private family graveside services will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery. A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2006 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Mrs. Jenkins will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Rolling Hills Activity Fund, 2410 SW Urish Road, Topeka, 66614.
