Dolores Bolan-Ten Eyck, 90, Topeka, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015.
She was born November 29, 1924, in Alma, Kansas, the daughter of William and O'tillie (Bock) Maike. She graduated from Alma High School.
She assisted her husband as a bookkeeper for his business and later owned and operated Dee Bolan ArtCo in Potwin, where she also taught painting classes.
She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church; Topeka Artist Association and various bridge clubs in Topeka.
Dolores married Lorraine "Larry" Bolan on May 6, 1945. He preceded her in death on April 3, 1990. She later married Harry A. Ten Eyck on January 17, 1993 at Faith Lutheran Church. He survives. Other survivors include her daughter, Vicki L. Richardson, Frisco, TX; step-daughters, Sharon (Ed) Tolin, Auburn, KS and Susan (Tom) Scott, Leawood, KS; grandchildren, Sean (Tracey) Richardson, Shawnee, KS and Mary (Pete) Kelly, Frisco, TX; four great-grandchildren, Grey, Kyler & Channing Richardson and Chase Kelly; two step-grandchildren, Alyssa (Kelly) Miller and Jordan Scott and two step-great-grandchildren, Taegan & Cameron Miller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, brother, Delmar Maike and son-in-law, John Richardson.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Monday, September 14, 2015 at the Faith Lutheran Church, 1716 SW Gage Blvd., Topeka. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel from 6:00-7:30 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
