Diana Jo Osterhout, 78, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021.
She was born December 7, 1942, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Howard and Evelyn (Buechner) Osterhout. Diana graduated from Topeka High School and attended Kansas University.
Diana was employed by the Arab Shriners of Topeka for 35 years, retiring in 2018.
Ms. Osterhout was a member of the First United Methodist Church, of Topeka since 1979.
Diana enjoyed volunteering with Topeka Symphony. Over many years, Diana's service didn't go unnoticed to Topeka Symphony. She served as president of the Topeka Symphony League, served as a secretary on the board of TSO, was part of endowment committee and helped with the youth talent auditions.
She also loved music and singing, trips to Walmart, Findables, and Tilton's, craft shows, and going out to dinner and enjoyed socializing friends.
Survivors include a cousin, Susan London; friend, John M. Garcia, Jr.; and friend, Nadine Shaw. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Funeral Ceremony will be 11:00 am, Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the First United Methodist Church, 600 SW Topeka Blvd., Topeka. A visitation will be held an hour prior to the service. A graveside service will follow at Topeka Cemetery.
