Diana J. (McPike) Jordan, 56, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2009 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. She was born on February 9, 1953 in Topeka, the daughter of Frank and Alberta Black McPike. She graduated from Topeka West High School in 1971 and graduated from Salina VoTech where she studied graphic arts. She was employed by Florist Review Magazine for several years in Topeka. Survivors include her mother, Alberta McPike of Topeka, her son, Brian P. Jordan currently serving in the Navy, her daughter, Jenny J. Spagnuolo of Topeka, four grandchildren, Lacey, Michael, Aiden, Liam and was expecting another granddaughter in July, one sister, Linda Marling of Topeka and one brother, Mike McPike of Topeka. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Burial will follow. Diana will lie in state after Noon Sunday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to Midland Hospice Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
