Derrell Keith Long, Jr., 73, of Santa Fe Springs, CA, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020.
He was born April 5, 1947, in San Francisco, California, the son of Derrell and Caroline (Rodriquez) Long. He received a Master's Degree in history.
Derrell enjoyed collecting books and had a passion for military history.
Survivors include a sister, Carlene Long; brother, James Long; three nephews, James Benbow, Schaun Long, Michael Long; and one niece, Katrina Long. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Funeral Ceremony will be 11:00 am, Monday, January 25, 2021 at the Penwell-Gabel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka. A graveside service will follow at Rochester Cemetery, Topeka, Kansas.
