Dennis R. Eaton, 65, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016.
He was born January 24, 1951, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Floyd and Charlotte (Caye) Eaton. He was a graduate of Topeka High School and was employed by BNSF Railroad for 40 years, retiring in 2011.
Dennis attended Fellowship Bible Church, served with the 137th Transportation Company (Heavy Helicopter) of the Army National Guard of Kansas, where he was honorably discharged as a Sergeant, and was a member of American Legion Post 400.
Dennis married Sandra M. Trimble on January 28, 1972 in Topeka.
Survivors include wife, Sandy; son, Scott Eaton; daughter, Kimberly (Aron) Montaini; grandsons, Thomas and Christian; and brother, Kevin (Lora) Eaton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at Fellowship Bible Church, 6800 SW 10th Street, Topeka, Kansas 66615. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66604. Memorial contributions may be made to Papan's Landing Senior Center, 619 NW Paramore Street, Topeka, Kansas 66608.
