Dennis Browning

Dennis L. Browning, 56, of Topeka, passed away peacefully on Nov. 30, 2008. He was born Aug. 13, 1952 in Holton, the son of Earl and Francis Browning. On June 5, 1981, he married DeNeisse Davis in Topeka.

Survivors include his wife; his three children, Dustin, Desiree, both of Topeka, and Damon of Yokosuka, Japan USN; granddaughter Brianna; sister-in-law Kim (Gary) Rhoades; nephew Dylan; brothers Jim and Ron; sisters Sharon, Diane, Jean and Brenda; numerous nieces and nephews; mother-in-law Carolyn Davis; and grandmother-in-law Margie Ewing. He was preceded in death by his father, grandfather-in-law Lester Ewing and father-in-law Floyd Davis, Jr.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thurs., Dec. 4, at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Dennis will lie in state after noon on Wed., Dec. 3 with visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. all at the funeral home.
