Delpha Tucker, 94, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023 with her husband by her side.
She was born December 28, 1928, in Lyndon, Kansas, the daughter of Clarence and Minnie (Parsons) Adolph. She grew up and graduated in Scranton, Kansas.
Delpha was employed by Santa Fe and Capper Publications for 6 years, before leaving to raise her family.
Delpha married Donald G. Tucker on December 7, 1946 in Topeka, KS.
She was preceded in death by her father; Clarence L. Adolph, mother; Minnie J. Adolph, brother; Clarence L. Adolph Jr.
Survivors include her husband; Donald G. Tucker, son; Alan Tucker, daughter; Brenda (Richard) Thompson, grandsons; Jacob and Jason Thompson.
Delpha enjoyed woodworking, and to make quilts. She was costume coordinator for Ballet Midwest.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday May 17, 2023, at Penwell Gabel Chapel, with interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, in Topeka. Visitation will begin an hour prior to service time.
