Delpha R. Hart, 68, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. She was born August 21, 1946 in Topeka, the daughter of Verl and Eunice Nincehelser.
Delpha graduated from Highland Park High School. She was employed by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Kansas for 39 years before retiring in 2000. Delpha later worked for Chick-fil-A for the past several years. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church.
Delpha married John J. Hart on June 11, 1971 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on August 6, 2009. Survivors include one son, Stephen John Hart of Topeka, one grandson, Tristain, her sister, Karen Boersma of IL and two brothers, Nealan Nincehelser of Marysville, KS and Joel Nincehelser of Highland Village, TX.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015 at First Southern Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. Delpha will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2015 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.
