Delpha Joyce Bahr
Delpha Joyce Bahr passed away Saturday October 25, 2003 at Alterral Claire Bridge Cottage. She born June 19, 1925 in Gridley, KS the daughter of Henry and Agnes Reed. She is preceded in death by her parents and her 1st born son Keith.
Delpha was a long time resident of Topeka and a active member of Lowman United Methodist Church for many years. She was a member and past worthy matron of Topeka Chapter #462 Order Of The Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband Harry F. Bahr of 58 years, two sons, 5 grandchildren, and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 30, 2003 at Lowman United Methodist Church, 4000 SW Drury Lane. Interment will be in Penwell-Gabel Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Bahr will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel after 1:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home where visitation will be held from 6:00PM to 8:00PM that evening.
