Delores Merriam Stitt, 87, Topeka, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021.
She was born February 19, 1933, in Ottawa, Kansas, the daughter of George and Maye (Cline) Kious. She graduated from Topeka High School.
Delores married Jerry D. Stitt on March 15, 1952 in Topeka. He preceded her in death February 17, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Don Kious and Arlan Kious.
Survivors include four children, Deborah (Kenneth) Burns, Gregory (Vickie) Stitt, Cindy (Tom) Haefele, Ben (Tina) Stitt; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11am, Friday, January 15, 2021 at Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka. Delores will lie in state from 12 noon-5pm at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Thursday, January 14, 2021.
