Delores Mueller

Delores Anna Louise Mueller, 91, passed away Saturday, March 20, at Brewster Place. She was born Dec. 1, 1918, at Atchison, KS, but lived in Topeka nearly 90 years. Delores was a 1937 Topeka High graduate and earned BA and MA degrees in education from Washburn University. She taught at Sheldon and Whitson elementary schools for 17 years. She lived at Brewster Place the past 20 years. She was an associate of the late John G. Stutz and an officer of the Stutz family resort near Estes Park, CO. Delores never married. A brother, Frederick Mueller, died in 1980. A cousin, Marvin Hartman, Overland Park, survives.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 2010 at the Brewster Place Chapel located on the ground floor of the main building. Graveside inurnment services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 26, 2010 at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, 6th & Gage.
