Delores Johnston Belous of Fairview, Texas passed away on June 22, 2021 at the age of 79. She was born on July 12, 1941 to Arthur and Mary (Bolte) Ollenburger in El Dorado, Kansas. Delores graduated from Durham High School in Durham, Kansas. She earned her associates degree in Cosmetology, and she attended Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas.
Delores worked in Topeka, Kansas at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas for over 30 years until her retirement. She was a fashionista, wine connoisseur, social butterfly, and life of the party. Delores was the beloved matriarch of her family. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church Missouri Synod in Topeka, Kansas.
She is survived by her companion, Bill Belous; children, Mary Cooper and husband, Lloyd of Fairview, Texas, Micheal Johnston of McKinney, Texas, Kim Sumpter and husband, Bob of Topeka, Kansas, Tony Johnston and wife, Cheri of Topeka, Kansas, Eddie Johnston and fiancé, Patricia of Topeka, Kansas; grandchildren, Emily, Aprilynn, Jeremy, Cody, Justin, Alex, Michael, Caleb, Joshua, Raeahnna, Zoie, Zion; great-grandchildren, Ian, Owen, Violet, Phoebe, Zoey, Azale, Hazel, Ryla, Madison, Levi, Zack, Kaiyleana, Lily, Silas, Joseph, Jeremy Ray, Jaiyden and Abigail; sister-in-law, Doris Ollenburger; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Art and Mary; husband, Ray Johnston; sons, Michael A. Johnston and Mark Belous; brothers, Robert and Dean Ollenburger.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 25, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior at the funeral home. The funeral service will also be live streamed at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 25, 2021 at TJMfuneral.com on Delores' obituary page. After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location. Interment will follow in at Memorial Park Cemetery.
