Deborah Sue "Deb" Dittemore, 55, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 at her home.
She was born October 12, 1958 in Frankfort, Kansas, the daughter of George Lee and Mayme Elizabeth (Allen) Dowd.
Deb was a graduate of Valley Heights High School.
She was employed by Stormont-Vail Hospital and later for Taco Bell restaurant in Topeka. She attended Central Park Christian Church, Topeka.
Deb married Stephen Dittemore. They later divorced. Survivors include her partner, Dennis Neff, Topeka; a daughter, Dawn Dittemore, Topeka; a grandson, Tyson Nelson; her mother, Mayme Kerney, Marysville, KS; three siblings, George Dowd, Vermillion, KS, Elizabeth Geniuk, Seneca, KS and Shirley Hogan, Topeka; and special friends, John Lease, David Brookens III, both Topeka.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, David Dowd.
A funeral ceremony will be 1 p.m., Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka. Private interment will be at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Topeka. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
