Debbie S. Borchardt, 72, of Topeka, passed away Monday, March 11, 2024.
She was born October 2, 1951, in Northfield, Minnesota, the daughter of Roger and Beverly (Neumann) Collins.
She graduated from Burnsville High School in 1971.
Debbie was a cashier at many retail establishments in her life, most notable being Walmart. She was also employed at the bindery before it closed in the 90s, which she always said was her favorite job ever.
Survivors include her daughter, Ashley Turner; three sisters, Kris Drentlaw, Becky Berg and Shelley Bryant; a brother, Dave Drentlaw and lots of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Turner; her parents and her niece, Katie Jo Drentlaw.
Debbie enjoyed riding and being around horses, drawing and cooking. Her lasagna was to die for.
Honoring Debbie's wishes, cremation is planned. The family plans to have a private memorial service at a later date.
