Deana O'Rourke

Deana "Dee" O'Rourke, 64, Topeka, passed away Friday, November 30, 2007 at Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center.
Deana was born on April 3, 1943 in Tacoma, WA the daughter of Thomas and Evelyn Dwyer.
She was a graduate of Ponca City High School, OK and Washburn University with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work.
"Dee" was most recently employed as an LMHT at Stormont-Vail Hospital. She was previously employed at Menninger Foundation for over 30 years prior to their relocation to Houston.
She is survived by her only daughter, Erin O'Rourke previously of Topeka, now residing in Lawrence; three brothers, Dr. Mike Dwyer and wife, Linda, of Seguin, TX, and Dennis Dwyer and wife, Gail Moran of Edmond, OK; Greg Lamb of Phoenix, AZ; one sister, Susan Dredge of Hastings, MN, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Deana was preceded in death by her sister, Angela Kay Dwyer, and her brother, Gordon Douglas Lamb.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, Dec. 3, 2007 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. The family will greet friends from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m., Sunday.
