David Mcdonald

David Paul McDonald, 36, of Topeka left his family and friends on March 15, 2006 to be with his Lord and Savior. David was born June 14, 1969 in Topeka, KS.

Survivors include his parents Glenn and Sandra McDonald; sister Anne McDonald; brothers Kelly (Marites) McDonald and Mike (Jeanette) McDonald. He also has two nephews; Caleb McDonald, and Antonio Smith and four nieces; Tia Smith, Kendra McDonald, Mariza McDonald and Lauren McDonald.

He graduated from Topeka West High School and Capper Foundation in 1999. In 1999 he participated in the T.A.R.C. workshop programs. David lead a very active life: C.P. bowling tournaments, speech tournaments, whitewater rafting, fishing, movies and loved traveling. He enjoyed the company of friends, family and many wonderful personal assistants. Anyone that ever met David will remember his big smile, positive attitude and loving personality. David's life was example of strength, courage and faith. He's an inspiration to all and will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be March 19, 2006 3:00-5:00 p.m. and funeral service March 20, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. both at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, 10th & Lane, Topeka, KS. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to be made to T.A.R.C. (David Assisted Technology Fund) ,Capper Foundation or Family Service & Guidance Center.
