Darrie Ann Schnee

Darrie Ann Schnee, 66, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Select Specialty Hospital in Topeka.
She was born September 21, 1947, in Spearville, Kansas, the daughter of Howard and Betty (Scott) Koch. She graduated from Atwood High School in 1965.
Darrie Ann started her career at Bell Telephone as an operator in 1966 and retired after 38 years, in 2004.
Survivors include sons, Dustin P. Schnee, Jared M. (Angela) Schnee, Chandler S. Schnee; grandchildren, Noah M. Schnee, Chloe L. Schnee, and Eli P. Schnee; and brothers, Denny Koch and Regan Koch. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Darrie Ann enjoyed traveling, spending time with her grandchildren, and visiting casinos.
Darrie Ann was cremated. A memorial ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66604. Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st Street, Topeka, Kansas 66604.
