Daniel L. Waterman, 75, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014. He was born September 18, 1939 in Washington, KS, the son of Elmer Dale and Vera Dickson Waterman.
Daniel graduated from Barnes High School in Barnes, KS. He attended Kansas State University and graduated with a BA Degree from Kansas Wesleyan University. He was an Army Veteran. Daniel operated K.B. Pump Company in Topeka. He later was employed by the Colmery-O'Neil VA Medical Center before retiring due to health reasons after 30 years of service. He attended Light of the World Christian Center.
Daniel married Sandra Montgomery on December 1, 1967 in Beatrice, NE. She survives. Other survivors include their children, Shawn Waterman and Jill Elaine Waterman, both of Topeka, four grandchildren, Kayla Morris, Aaron Black, Travis Waterman and Michael Waterman, one brother, Scott Waterman of Assaria, KS, and numerous nieces and nephews. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Pat, Connie, Carol, Dale and Steve.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
